He served his internship and residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 1974 and 1975, respectively. He then returned to California to complete his fellowship in pulmonary disease at UC Davis Medical Center in 1978.
With over five decades of experience in his field, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
