After obtaining her bachelor’s degree from Meredith College, Dr. Daughtry pursued her passion for medicine by attending Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, where she received her doctorate. 

Her commitment to providing the best possible care for her patients led her to attend one of the largest and most prestigious podiatric residencies in the Mid-Atlantic region at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. During her three-year surgical residency, she received comprehensive training in both elective and non-elective care in foot and ankle surgery, including forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, trauma, and wound care for limb salvage.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgery, the doctor is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and can be found on staff at WakeMed Cary, Sampson Regional Medical Center, and Harnett Health System. Furthermore, she serves as Secretary on the Executive Board of the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society and as Treasurer of the American Association for Women Podiatrists, where she has also served as Conference Chair.
