Dr. Glover is a clinical psychologist who is currently serving patients at her private practice – Monterey Psychological Services, PLLC – in Allen, Texas. “It is our mission to promote emotional development and growth by providing value-added psychological services (evaluations, psychotherapy, consultation, supervision, and groups) to individuals, couples, and families. I believe each individual brings his or her own uniqueness to therapy. Each person also brings unique challenges, life situations, experiences and, most importantly, personal strengths. With clinical interests in neuropsychology, chronic pain, health psychology, and rehabilitation psychology, Dr. Glover has established a reputation for fostering sound client relationships, as well as helping individuals gain self-awareness, better understand behavior patterns, and improve their coping skills. She also has authored numerous publications on a wide variety of topics, including ADHD, social psychology, and weight management.
Dr. Glover began her career as a clinical psychologist after spending 10 years as a senior marketing manager for a small cap money manager. While working in the investment industry, she continued her graduate studies in clinical psychology with the Texas School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, eventually earning a master’s degree and a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. Soon after obtaining her PsyD, Dr. Glover was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at Prima A.D.D. Corp., where she skillfully conducted psychological assessments, facilitated psycho-educational groups, and offered psychotherapy to individuals, families, and couples.
Dr. Glover taught developmental psychology for one year at Jefferson State College in Birmingham, Alabama, as well as served on the Advisory Board for Enactus Jefferson State. As a licensed psychologist by both the Alabama and Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, Dr. Glover has spent the past ten years working with diverse populations and clients of all ages across multi-disciplinary settings. Much of her experience has been devoted to performing psychological evaluations and providing treatment for ADHD, learning disabled, weight management, and pre-/post-operative bariatric patients.
