Later, he completed his Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on strategy and design at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2017, and earned his Certificate in Design Thinking from the Hasso Plattner Institute in 2021.
Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in gastroenterology and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Achieving fellowship status, Dr. Soetikno is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG), Fellow of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (FASGE), and Fellow of the Japanese Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (FJGES).
Throughout his illustrious career, he has published over hundreds of peer-reviewed articles on endoscopy training as well as several key works on the endoscopic management of nonpolypoid colorectal neoplasms and inflammatory bowel disease. In the past, he has served as the Chief of the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Palo Alto VA Healthcare System, and Professor of Medicine at Stanford University and Duke-NUS Medical School.
