Dr. Worrell is a board-certified family physician and sleep medicine physician. He leads the team at Dallas Family Medicine in Dallas, Texas. His goal for the clinic was to create a space where he could treat the entire family. 

As a full-service medical practice, Dallas Family Medicine makes it simple to get quality care for the whole family. Services include everything from pediatric checkups and allergy testing to sleep studies and diabetes management, so patients of all ages can enjoy their best health.

Knowing the entire family helps Dr. Worrell has a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s needs. He believes in taking a conservative approach to treating patients, with surgery and even certain drugs being the last alternative. He finds it incredibly rewarding to treat three and sometimes even four generations of the same family.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Worrell graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin before receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth, Texas. 

Following his training, he attained board certification in family practice and osteopathic manipulative treatment through the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

As an Associate Professor of Family Medicine, Dr. Worrell has taught numerous medical students, nurse practitioners, PA students, interns, and residents throughout his career. He has hospital affiliations at the Medical City of Dallas and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.

Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
