  • Can you get the COVID vaccine with heart arrhythmia?

Yes. People with heart disease benefit greatly from the COVID vaccine in less severe COVID symptoms, lower need for hospital admissions and lower mortality. The myocarditis which can RARELY occur after the mRNA vaccines is more common in young male> female adults without any known heart disease, is not well understood but is very mild and usually resolves on its own after a few days of rest and anti- inflammatory medications. • Related to chickenpox?

What you describe sounds like zoster or "shingles". If that is the correct condition, yes, the same virus causes both conditions. Shingles is a local flare up of a prior infection with the varicella zoster virus which causes chickenpox. READ MORE

  • Mold exposure?

Mostly allergy symptoms in allergic people. The musty odor bothers some but is not harmful. In immune-suppressed people, serious infections may occur. Mold exposure is overrated as a cause of unexplained symptoms and should not be a first option diagnosis until after a very thorough medical evaluation. This is now a big business and to lawyers and the construction industry, "mold is gold". Beware! READ MORE

  • I'm living with someone who tested positive for the virus?

This is not as uncommon as it may sound but most contact people will be infected, it may take a few more days. Many can be infected without any symptoms so still quarantine yourself for at least 5-7 days and do at least 2 rapid home tests w NEG results 2-3 days apart before resuming social activities. People without symptoms can spread the virus. Depends on many factors eg man v woman, complicated by stones or obstruction, etc, type of bacteria or rarely yeast, choice of antimicrobial agent, route of antimicrobial delivery eg IV v oral and overall health status of patient eg if diabetic, problems with absorption of oral medications such after gastric bypass surgery and many other issues. • When can I get the COVID after heart stent surgery?

If you mean the COVID vaccine, I would wait one month so that your immune system has recovered from surgery. I hope that you are talking about a booster.
