His acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his Medical Degree from Albert Szent-Gyorgi University in Hungary. Continuing his medical education and practice in the United States, he earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas and completed several research projects with esteemed institutions such as the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston VA Medical Center, and the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Thereafter, he completed his residency in neurology at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida and his chief residency at the Duke University Medical Center. 

Beyond this experience, Dr. Saldin completed a neuroimaging fellowship at the Jacobs Neurological Institute and a fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the University of Virginia. 

Interventional pain management or interventional pain medicine is a medical subspecialty which treats pain with invasive interventions such as facet joint injections, nerve blocks, neuroaugmentation, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, nucleoplasty, endoscopic discectomy, and implantable drug delivery system. As an interventional pain management physician, Dr. Saldin focuses on the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of pain.
