George M. Lyon, MD
George M. Lyon III, MD, is a leading Infectious Disease Specialist currently serving patients at Emory Clinic and Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, Georgia. Furthermore, he is Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine faculty. Throughout his fourteen years of practice, Dr. Lyon III has accrued extensive expertise in Lyme disease and all facets of infectious disease medicine. After earning his medical degree in 1994 at Marshall University School of Medicine, he completed his internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, and his fellowship at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Lyon III is board certified in internal medicine and infectious disease medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
