The mission of Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers (SJFMC) is to provide and promote effective, culturally proficient, high-quality primary, secondary, specialty, preventive, behavioral health and dental care services for residents and migrant seasonal farmworkers in Southern Jersey regardless of their ability to pay and to eliminate barriers to care based upon race, religion, ethnicity, sex, gender, national origin and residential status. They will provide this care in a competent, compassionate, and empathetic manner.
Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Collins earned his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1991. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Overlook Medical Center in 1995.
Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
