Dr. Zerby, a devoted psychiatrist, holds the esteemed position of Medical Director at Family Psychological Associates, overseeing offices across Pennsylvania. His professional expertise extends to providing vital mental health services and treatments for an array of demographics, ranging from pre-school age children to young adults, geriatric individuals, and their respective families.

Family Psychological Associates, a fully licensed outpatient psychiatric clinic, and Kids Count Inc. have united to form a leading behavioral health care organization, offering a comprehensive spectrum of services. A 1994 graduate of Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, Dr. Zerby went on to perform his residency in psychiatry and his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the said establishment in 1997 and 1999, respectively. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at UMass Chan Medical School in 2001.

Triple board certified in psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry, Dr. Zerby is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

His impressive career spans various professional roles at different organizations. From August 2017 to December 2017, Dr. Zerby was actively engaged with Wesley Family Services, lending his expertise for a period of 5 months. Prior to this, he served as a psychiatrist at Family Behavioral Resources (June 2015 – July 2017), Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. (July 2016 – March 2017), and MHM Services, Inc., with two separate tenures: from September 2016 to January 2017 (5 months) and from December 2014 to June 2015 (7 months), both in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders.
