Dr. Khair was raised in Denver, Colorado. He attended Bowdoin College where he played lacrosse and graduated Magna Cum Laude with majors in Chemistry and Philosphy. He worked and studied biomedical ethics for two years at the Hastings Center in Garrison, New York prior to graduating from medical school at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

He then completed his orthopedic surgical residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery Weill Cornell Medical College which is ranked as the best orthopedic hospital and residency program in the country.

Following his residency, Dr. Khair was accepted into Rush University's Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship. A program that is considered to be the top sports fellowship in the country.

Currently, Dr. Khair's interest and focus includes: Taking care of sports injuries in recreational and competitive athletes of all ages; cartilage restoration and transplantion in all joints; hip, knee, and shoulder preservation; shoulder, knee, and hip arthroscopy; rotator cuff surgery; joint restoration and preservation, including shoulder and knee replacement surgery; orthopedic trauma and fracture care; biologic therapy, orthobiologics, stem cell therapy, and PRP injections.

When Dr. Khair is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren LaMont and their two sons Logan and Dylan.

He also serves as the Assistant Team Physician for the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks, the Team Physician for the Episcopal School of Dallas and Southern Methodist University, as well as the Team Orthopaedic Surgeon for the US National Lacrosse Men’s Senior Team. 

Raised in Denver, Colorado, Dr. Khair went to Bowdoin College where he played lacrosse and graduated Magna Cum Laude with majors in both Chemistry and Philosophy.
