Dr. Anna Fyodorova, MS, PT, DPT, MBA of TRI Physical Therapy in Brooklyn loved playing sports from an early age. So when it came time to choose a college path, physical therapy seemed like the perfect fit, combining her love for science and medicine with her love for sports. Physical therapist Dr. Fyodorova attended LIU Brooklyn, beginning with their honors program and finishing with a Bachelor’s degree in three years and was accepted to their Physical Therapy program. During college and her PT program, she began to run marathons and race triathlon more seriously and competitively, being on several sponsored teams, Nike CPTC, SBR.
After Dr. Anna Fyodorova graduated Physical Therapy school from LIU, she was offered a PT job in acute care at the now NYU Lutheran Medical Center. Acute care gave her valuable experience in critical clinical conditions and being able to differentiate between acute clinical diagnosis and conditions. After about a year and a half, she decided to venture into outpatient physical therapy rehabilitation to get closer to sports and athletic injuries and to have more time to train. Over the past 13 years as a leading physical therapist, Dr. Fyodorova has treated it all, or so it seems, but you never know what is going to come in through the door, making every day both challenging and very interesting.
