Get to know Nephrologist Dr. Beata M. Jasiurkowski, who serves patients in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Dr. Jasiurkowski is a board-certified nephrologist who is affiliated with VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS), a Veterans Affairs hospital located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Jasiurkowski received her medical degree from the Medical University of Lublin in Poland. She then went on to complete her residency at Maricopa Medical Center-University of Arizona. Furthering her training, she completed her fellowship in nephrology with the University of Arizona in Tucson. 

A Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN), Dr. Jasiurkowski is board-certified in both internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Nephrology is the medical specialty which focuses on the treatment of kidney conditions and abnormalities. It is a subspecialty of internal medicine – the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. As a nephrologist, Dr. Jasiurkowski specializes in kidney care and treating diseases of the kidneys.
