Dr. Burris has been in practice for more than 16 years and is currently serving patients at Burris Cosmetic and Family Dentistry in Camden, Delaware. He treats patients from different parts of Delaware as well as Maryland, and many of his patients are willing to travel to experience gentle dentistry and receive superior quality care. Dr. Burris attended The Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, formerly known as The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1998. He then went on to serve his residency training in the United States Air Force, where he spent the next seven years as a dentist. Dr. Burris holds extensive training in all aspects of general dentistry, implants, cosmetic procedures, periodontal maintenance, and root therapy. Additionally, he completed postgraduate training in dental implant placement and restoration, and received his mastership in implant placement in 2013. Dr. Burris attends continuing education classes yearly to stay updated on the newest procedures and technology that modern dentistry has to offer. Dr. Burris keeps current in the field of dentistry by maintaining professional memberships with the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the International Dental Implant Association, the Kent-Sussex Dental Society, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Furthermore, he holds board certification in General Dentistry from the American Board of General Dentistry. He is the recipient of a Top Dentist Award and credits his success to his experience in the United States Air Force.
