Get to know Dentist Dr. James Toliver Craig, who serves patients in Aurora, Colorado.

Offering high-quality dental and orthodontic care with a personal touch, Dr. Craig tends to patients’ dental needs at Summerbrook Dental Group in Aurora, Colorado. The dental practice offers services such as: orthodontics, emergency dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, family dentistry, sedation dentistry, dental implants, dentures, general dentistry, and TMJ.

On the subject of his academic career, Dr. Craig did his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and graduated from dental school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. He served briefly as a Student Professor at the  University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he taught courses in clinical dentistry, biochemistry, and histology. 

To date, he remains a member of many dental associations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Denver Dental Association. 

Highly trained and experienced in his field, he attributes his success to his ability to listen to his patients, his education, his passion for the dental field, and the advancement of technology.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

In his personal life, Dr. Craig and his wife, Angela, are the proud parents of six great kids. The family love the outdoors and are constantly in search of the perfect campsite. They enjoy mountain biking, trail hiking, and rock climbing.
