My Diagnosis Story
Now 53 years old, I was originally diagnosed with BC Stage 3c at the age of 40. My children were 4 years old at the time. I was re-diagnosed with Metastatic cancer at age 43. I have been living with Stage IV cancer for 10 years. 10 years of non -stop treatment. Pain. Hair loss.

The appearance of my breast began to change. I had 3 normal mammograms before.
Looking in the mirror and lifting my arms I saw a change, felt no lump because of fibrous tissue. It is not just feeling, it is looking.
I always wonder that if we would have done an ultrasound would my tumor have been found earlier?
I was 39.
What tests did your doctor do, and what was this experience like?
I called the doctor. We did a mammogram, it said I had calcifications. Only a U/S showed a tumor. Then a biopsy. That was traumatic, core punch.
Upon learning about your diagnosis- what happened next?
Surgery. STAGE 3C BC.
