What do you do when you're feeling upset?

Unfortunately, I don't always deal with some kinds of stress well. I tend to hold things in until it explodes out. One good thing is that once I let it out I'm over it and immediately feel bad if I've hurt or insulted someone. Often the thing I explode about has little or nothing to do with what I'm stressing about. Since I was young I have worried about having a place to live and it has made things worse many times. It goes back to my father dying when I was a baby and having to depend on my mother's family to care for my mother, brother, and me.

What keeps you going?

Now in my old age, the only family I have are my children and grandchildren which is comforting. I believe in Jesus so praying is a regular part of my day. Praying helps me remember that God has got this, no matter what it is. I do have anxiety attacks from time to time so I do take a low dose of an antianxiety agent for times when I may need it.
