What symptoms led up to your diagnosis?

I had no symptoms? I had a routine mammogram at the local mobile unit, and just over a week later was invited to visit Worthing Hospital!

What tests did your doctor do, and what was this experience like?

On arrival I didn't know which breast? I was given a second mammogram, then an Ultrasound and finally a biopsy. I bruised so badly they were not sure that they had enough of a sample. On my way home someone banged into me, it was very painful!

Upon learning about your diagnosis, what happened next?

After around 2 weeks, I returned to the hospital and was told that it was Breast Cancer! I went away in a daze, and the following day saw the Surgeon. This was early in the month, by the end of the month I was on the table! I am extremely glad that he was as quick as he was, because it turned out to be triple Negative, very small, very deep and a very aggressive Stage 3! Because of this I was strongly advised to have both Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy!
