What do you do when you're feeling upset?

I cry but not for long then I talk to my mom who passed shortly after my amputation. She could always make me see light. I want her to look down and see I'm happy and strong and she need not worry and I want to make her proud of me, her first daughter.

What keeps you going?

My husband whom I love forever, who has such a strength inside, but I know his heart aches because he knows my spirit of moving and he knows how stifled that spirit in me feels sometimes. My daughters and their unwavering love and concern, they love making me laugh. My 9 grandchildren for whom I want to be an example to them. No matter what mountains are in your path in life, you can rise over them keep pushing. Never give up.
