Do you feel like fibromyalgia has changed you as a person?

Yes it has big time. I am not me anymore. I feel 20 years older than I am because the smallest of everyday tasks is hard work, painful and exhausting. I can't do what I used to enjoy and struggle to do the smallest of things. I can't walk far without discomfort/pain, can't sit or stand too long without getting stiff, aching, feeling sore. I go off balance and use a walking pole or both poles on a bad day which there are so many of those. The change in me is a complete turnaround to who I was.

Has fibro limited your physical activities? How?

I have had to give up walking long distances, playing golf because my body aches, feels sore and the tiredness/fatigue sets in with a vengeance if I try and do anything strenuous. I can't play my other sport as much now due to the fatigue, all over body aches/body weakness. Driving only short distances due to fatigue being so bad. I have had to pull out of competitions and league games and it's awful. I feel as I said 20 years older than I am.
