What symptoms led up to your diagnosis?

Herniated disc in my neck. Pain, tingling and burning throughout my body. Complete exhaustion. 

What tests did your doctor do, and what was this experience like?

MRI, X-Ray, Nephropathy tests, I can't remember the rest.  

Upon learning about your diagnosis, what happened next?

I became very depressed. After trying many medications with little to no help I went to see a Pain Management Psychiatrist. This helped me get out of the depression and guilt part but the pain and fatigue continued. It has been 9 years and I have learned how to get through life one day at a time. I have learned my limitations and to listen to what my body is telling me. 

I gave up on most medications. I just take an antidepressant, anti-inflammatory on a daily basis and Tramadol as needed. 

I remember joining a on line support group and people were talking about how they have lived with this disorder for ten plus years and I thought to myself "I will never be able to last that long". But here I am. As they say "Life goes on". And if I could get through it so can you. God Bless.
