How have you responded to people telling you that "You don't look sick"?

People do not understand "Invisible Illnesses". After all these years, I have found a website I refer people to  --https://themighty.com/2017/01/invisible-illnesses-understanding/

It has been very helpful for me and also less draining to explain on a daily basis what fibromyalgia really is.

Do you find you have to continue to remind people over and over that you are ill or does your circle of family friends understand your illness?

I am very fortunate that my immediate circle of friends and family understand. It's heartbreaking not to be able to do everything you love, especially working. For friends who are not familiar, and call to say "come on- were going out" It takes a bit for them to understand that if it is a bad day I can't jump and go. My fibromyagia was aggravated even more from a car accident in 2015, as a result I suffer through panic attacks driving.
