Lupus

I am a 46 year old single mom and teacher. When I got the diagnosis my daughter was only 18 months old and I was only 29. I thought my life was over literally. I was devastated wondering what was going to happen to my baby. I had ups and downs it wasn't very active when she was little but as I got older that changed and in 2010 when I had Gastric Bypass surgery it truly got worse. My diagnosis changed my outlook on life I wanted to live better, be a better person. It also changed me because until this I never knew how strong I could be until I had to be. I refuse to give up.
