Bulging discs are not uncommon. Avoid any exercise (or any other activity, for that matter) that involves lifting and twisting. Do exercises that strengthen your core muscles.

In order to determine which supplements will be useful to you, your chiropractor should take an extremely detailed health history, and do a thorough examination that may include blood labs and urinalysis. With that information, your chiropractor should be able to recommend supplements that are beneficial and catered to your health needs. Unfortunately, most supplements that are sold in stores are low quality and expensive.

If you feel like you need your hips aligned, there is probably something not working correctly, and you should go see your chiropractor to figure out what it is. There could be a muscle imbalance, or joint dysfunction that needs to be addressed. For the most part, I do not recommend anyone self-aligning. Chiropractors go through years of training, schooling, and practice in order to perfect the art of adjusting.

It only take a second to correct your bad posture. Sit up straight. Make sure your ears are directly over your shoulders and your shoulders are over your hips. If you are standing, make sure your hips are directly over your knees and ankles. That's it. Maintaining that posture may be more difficult that it sounds, especially if you have weak postural muscles. The more you practice, the easier it gets. If you think you have a problem, visit your chiropractor.

I never recommend the posture corrector. Yes, it can help, but if you rely on it, your postural muscles will weaken, which will make the problem worse. The best way to improve posture is to strengthen those muscles. If you think you have a problem with posture, visit your chiropractor.

Improving your posture should not hurt at all. It may feel awkward at first, but it should reduce stress in your shoulders, neck, and back. It will be difficult to maintain good posture for a long time unless those postural muscles are strong. If you think you have a problem with posture, visit your chiropractor.

It depends on what is causing your bad posture. I typically don't recommend a posture corrector because it may worsen the problem if you have weak postural muscles.

Push ups are healthy, but if you have rounded shoulders due to an imbalance of muscle tone, the push ups may be making things worse. Consider an exercise that works the muscle of your back and between your shoulders. If you think you have a problem, visit your chiropractor.

If you have forward head posture, it is important to identify the cause of it. Visit your chiropractor. Depending on what is going on, there are exercises you can do, and there are devices that you can use to help. Simply being aware of your posture and keeping your ears over your shoulders may help.

If you are only 28, it is not too late to fix posture. However, the sooner the better. Visit your chiropractor for help with this.

The fact that you are aware of your posture is a good first step to correcting your posture. The best way to stop forward slouching is to practice maintaining a good posture. Chiropractic treatment can help you along the way by freeing up the joints, which may make it easier to maintain good posture. Keep your head over your shoulders, and your shoulders over your hips.

That really depends on the cause of your uneven shoulders. A chiropractor would need a detailed history and examination to uncover the reason behind uneven shoulders. Only then will the chiropractor be able to tell you if it is treatable. If you think you have a problem, please visit your chiropractor.

That depends on the direction of the scoliosis. Scoliosis is more common in females than males, and most of the time, they begin in the lumbar spine (that is your low back). It will typically curve to the left in the lumbar spine, then to the right in the mid back, back to the left in the neck. A right-sided scoliosis would do the opposite. A right-sided scoliosis will typically cause more problems than a left sided one.

Pain is your body's way of telling you that something is wrong. There could be many causes of back pain. You should get it checked by a professional. A thorough history and examination will give the provider clues to the underlying cause of you back pain. Once a cause is established and a proper diagnosis is made, then the provider can give you a treatment plan. Hopefully the doctor will uncover the underlying cause and treat you appropriately. A good experienced chiropractor should be able to help you with this.

The less the better. It is more important to strengthen your postural muscles.

That really depends on the severity of the scoliosis. It is a good idea to get regular checks by your chiropractor because the joints in a scoliosis can become very stressed. If the scoliosis is severe, it may require surgical rods. If the scoliosis is untreated, the most likely scenario is early arthritis in the joints of the spine that are under more stress.

It depends on the severity and direction of the scoliosis. At a minimum, you're looking at early onset arthritis. This process can be slowed by visiting your chiropractor on a regular bases. A severe right scoliosis can put pressure on the heart, causing heart problems. There is also a correlation between a right scoliosis and an Arnold-Chiari malformation. This is when a part of the brain is pushed down through the skull, which could result in pressure on the brainstem. The brainstem controls many of the unconscious processes of your body (breathing, heart rate, etc.)

Pain is your body warning you that something is wrong. It could be a sign of something serious, like stroke or heart attack, or it could be something simple like improper movement of the joints of your neck. It is important to have it checked by a professional who will ask you questions and do a thorough examination to find out the cause of the pain. A good chiropractor should be able to determine the cause. If the cause is related to joints or muscles, your chiropractor should be able to help you. As with any medical procedure, there is no guarantees of immediate relief.

Chiropractors go through a lot of training in adjustment technique. There are multiple ways that a chiropractor might adjust ankles. Some may use their hands while others may use an instrument.
