Graduating with his medical degree from the Armed Forces Medical College of Poona University in India in 1997, Dr. Bhargava relocated to the United States. Once there, he served his internship in internal medicine at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in 2001, his residency in nuclear medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 2003, and his residency in radiology at LSU Health – Shreveport in 2018.

As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
