Get to know Dentist Dr. Claire A. Sparagna, who serves patients in Linwood, New Jersey.

Recognized as a caring and compassionate dentist, Dr. Sparagna sees patients at her private practice – Shore Family Dental, P.C. – in Linwood, New Jersey. 

Her patients, like her staff, have become family to her practice and she believes this, as much as the provision of care, provides the forum for optimal health care. Her staff perpetrates this philosophy in all aspects of the office, thereby providing patients with a safe and secure environment in which they can successfully address their needs and desires.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Sparagna completed her undergraduate education at Boston College. From there, she went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

A firm believer that dentistry is a fusion of medicine and engineering based on the assessment of patients’ overall health, Dr. Sparagna has a goal to resolve the pathologies and engineer dental restorations to re-establish functional and physiologic health. 

Focusing on dental technologies that support her practice philosophy, she continues to expand this vision with extensive continuing education.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
