Get to know Internal Medicine Physician Dr. Angela Aboutalib, who serves the population of Illinois. Dr. Angela Aboutalib is a highly trained and qualified internist with a vast expertise in all facets of her work, especially hospital medicine and primary care. Dr. Aboutalib has been practicing for more than six years, and is currently serving patients as a Hospitalist and Medical Director of Clinical Operations within US Acute Care Solutions. Dr. Angela Aboutalib obtained her Medical Degree in 2010 from St. Matthew’s College of Medicine in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. After relocating to the United States, she completed an internship and residency at the West Suburban Hospital and Medical Center in Oak Park, Illinois. Dr. Aboutalib is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Prior to her current position, Dr. Aboutalib worked with South Physicians as a hospitalist and teaching attending emerging leader at Mercy Hospital and Riverside Medical Center. She is the recipient of the Oral Clinical Vignette Award for her presentation in Adrenoleukodystrophy, granted by the American College of Physicians, which she is a member of. Dr. Aboutalib has a passion for medicine and lives by treating the patients the way she would want her family members to be treated. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, Pilates, and traveling.
