Get to know Head and Neck Oncology & Microvascular Reconstruction Surgeon Dr. Anastasiya Quimby, who serves patients in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Dr. Quimby is a fellowship-trained head and neck oncology & microvascular reconstruction surgeon. She is the Founder of Head And Neck Microvascular Surgery Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Dedicated to providing excellent care, some of her areas of focus include facial reconstructive surgery, diagnosis and management of pathological conditions, head and neck cancer-malignant, head and neck pathology-benign, and reconstructive surgery.

In collaboration with Memorial Healthcare System, she is affiliated with Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Memorial Hospital West, and Memorial Regional Hospital. She can also be found on staff at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Quimby graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, graduating number one in her class. She decided to pursue a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery and matched into her number one choice, University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville combined medical degree 6-year residency program. She graduated with a medical degree from University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville in 2017 and completed her residency in 2019. 

During her residency, she published numerous papers in peer reviewed journals, contributed book chapters, and presented at national and international conferences. In her residency, she developed interest in head and neck oncologic and microvascular reconstructive surgery. She was also the first female to be accepted into University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction fellowship headed by Dr. Rui Fernandes. She then successfully completed the fellowship in June of 2020. 

A member of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Quimby is board-certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). The ABOMS ensures that Diplomates meet the standards of training, education, and professionalism through the certification process. It provides contemporary and innovative programs that promote optimal care and service to the public.

At this time, Dr. Quimby serves on editorial board of the Journal of Diagnostics and Treatment of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, and as a reviewer for Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Craniomaxillofacial Trauma and Reconstruction Journal, and Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Cases. Additionally, she is an editor of the Clinics of North America Perspective on Zygomatic Implants issue & the developer and editor of Complex Head and Neck Microvascular Surgery – Comprehensive Management and Perioperative Care.

On a more personal note, she speaks multiple languages, including English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
