About

ZIN MIN, O.D.

Founder and Managing Optometrist

I would like to welcome you to our practice. My name is Dr. Zin Min. I am the Founder and managing optometrist at Gratitude Vision Optometry.

Optometry is a huge part of my life. My passion for optometry begins with volunteering at multiple health fairs while I was at UCLA, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Science. As time went on, my passion and excitement for optometry continued to grow when I completed the Doctorate of Optometry from the Western University of Health Science in 2015. I am a therapeutic optometrist with glaucoma certification. I also completed clinical training at the Eye Institute of Utah and Texas.

Throughout my eight years of optometry career, I have seen over thirty thousand patients in the Pasadena, Arcadia, Downey, and San Gabriel areas. I am happy to help my patients reach the highest achievable visual outcome by providing the most precise and comfortable vision possible. The changes I have made in my patients’ lives mean so much to me.

I am your primary eyecare doctor. I specialize in family eye care including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens exams, diabetic eye exams, dry eye therapy, pink eye, Lasik consultation, and myopia management. My favorite part of the profession is the satisfaction I feel when I have been able to help my patient with a problem and they are satisfied with the outcome. I am committed to excellence in serving my patients' complete eye care needs.

I am originally from Myanmar and came to the United States as a young teenager. I am fluent in Burmese and able to communicate in Mandarin. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, and traveling.
