His commitment to innovation led him to become the first physician in Northeast Florida to introduce Kybella, a revolutionary nonsurgical injection that targets fatty tissue in the neck.
A distinguished Cum Laude graduate of Jacksonville University, Dr. Garcia’s passion for facial surgery was ignited during his medical school years at the Medical College of Wisconsin. After completing an internship in general surgery at SUNY Health Sciences Center, he completed a four-year residency in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery.
During this time, Dr. Garcia was involved in developing techniques for the management of facial trauma. He conducted several scientific projects and published a number of scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals.
Following his residency, Dr. Garcia underwent specialized training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the prestigious McCollough Institute for Appearance and Health in Alabama. Throughout his training, he authored and presented studies on treatments for aging lower eyelids and the management of facial fractures.
A leader of the aesthetics industry, Dr. Garcia holds certifications from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
First and foremost an educator, Dr. Garcia has developed and trained dozens of other physicians in his groundbreaking procedures aimed at reversing the signs of aging. His dedication is further evident in his published scientific articles and acclaimed books, including “The Art of Facial Aesthetics”, which is widely recognized as an excellent resource for patients considering facial plastic procedures.
