Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Arthur M. Cambeiro, who serves patients in Nevada.

With a dedication to patient safety and satisfaction that has earned him a reputation as one of the top plastic surgeons in the Nevada region, Dr. Cambeiro is the Medical Director of SurgiSpa Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery with offices in Henderson and Las Vegas. There, he offers cosmetic surgery including breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tuck, and facelift, as well as medical spa treatments such as BOTOX®.

As an expert in his field, Dr. Cambeiro understands that plastic surgery can improve more than a person’s appearance. He knows that when approached with realistic expectations, it can help people gain confidence and happiness throughout many facets of their lives. His knowledge of psychology combined with his artistic sense, surgical skill, and experience enables him to enhance his patients’ physical beauty as well as elevate their inner selves. 

He and his staff emphasize three main objectives with every patient: to provide them with the most current, safe, effective cosmetic surgery and non-surgical procedures available; to deliver personalized quality patient care through compassion, knowledge, and expertise; and to achieve desired results.  

A native of Las Vegas, Dr. Cambeiro graduated from Bishop Gorman Preparatory School before enrolling at the University of Southern California, where he graduated in the Psychobiology Honors Program. After graduating from college, he received his medical degree from the University of Colorado, where he was honored with the Owens-Swan Award for the most promising surgeon in his medical class. 

Prior to his general surgery residency, he embarked on a journey to Honduras performing missionary work as a general surgeon at local medical clinics. He then went on to train for five years in general and vascular/trauma surgery at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program in Arizona, where he served as chief surgery resident and scored in the 99th percentile in the nation on his in-service examinations.

Thereafter, he continued his education in reconstructive, cosmetic, and plastic surgery at the world-famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. During his time there, Dr. Cambeiro participated with Global Health Outreach, donating his surgical skills to correct congenital facial defects in children living in Vietnam. 

A member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

A plastic surgeon’s primary responsibility is performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, and they use a variety of reparative and reconstructive techniques to get the job done.
