Well experienced in all aspects of foot & ankle surgery, Dr. Tievsky is the Founder of Tievsky Podiatry, LLC with offices in Paramus, New Jersey & New York, New York. Caring about his patients’ well-being, he takes his time to analyze foot problems and really cares about finding the best course of action.
Over the years, he has set himself apart from other surgeons with his caring attitude and meticulous surgical technique. Dr. Tievsky is regarded as one of the top surgeons in the country for treatment of collapsing arches via minimally invasive surgery.
Some of the conditions that he treats include: bunions, hammertoes, corns & calluses, heel pain, warts, ingrown toenails, toenail fungus, neuropathy, plantar warts, fractures, children’s foot problems, foot and ankle pain, Achilles tendinitis, diabetic foot care, and heel spur, among others.
Prior to going into Podiatry, Dr. Tievsky completed his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Hunter College in New York City. Upon graduating with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2011, he went on to complete a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency program with extra certification in reconstructive foot & ankle surgery at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills in 2014.
During this time, he covered 5 hospitals within the North Shore LIJ system, treating everything from simple ingrown nails, to complex reconstructive surgery secondary to severe trauma. He also helped manage and treat patients in two separate wound healing centers, which utilized hyperbaric oxygen therapy and skin grafts to heal complex non-healing wounds.
Following the completion of his training, he attained board certification through the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Continuously advancing his efforts, Dr. Tievsky is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
