On the subject of his professional experience, Dr. Torres has also been providing his services at Su Clinica Harlingen for over 25 years. Su Clinica Harlingen is a full-service clinic providing four mini-clinics under one roof. In 1987, he earned his medical degree from the Facultad de Medicina, Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. Upon relocating to the United States, he went on to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Long Island University in Brookville, New York. 

In addition to being a member of the American Medical Association and the Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, he is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Moreover, Dr. Torres is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Among his many achievements, the doctor presented a prized paper on ‘Training in the Second Stage of Labor’ to the Brooklyn Gynecology Society.
