Get to know Dentist Dr. Dix Densley, who serves patients in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Dr. Densley is a well-respected dentist who has teamed up with Dr. Jefferson Call, DMD, to create the driving force in the dental industry of the Pacific Northwest. At their dental practice, Century Dental, they take great pride in creating a comfortable and friendly environment where patients can have a positive dental experience. 

 Located in Hillsboro, their office is easily accessible as it is right off of Oregon Route 8. They have put together a team of highly skilled, professional staff, and have gone to great lengths to make sure their office is both state-of-the-art, as well as comfortable and inviting.

Thoroughly enjoying and believing in what cosmetic dentistry has to offer, Dr. Densley is confident in providing his patients with the best possible care. 

Throughout the years, he has performed many partial and complete smile makeovers, many incorporating the technical field of dental implants. He has also received training in conventional orthodontics, is a Premier Invisalign® certified provider, and is a noted lecturer in the fields of dental materials and 3D Cone Beam CT scans as related to implant technologies. 

A graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Dr. Densley’s educational prowess helped the school win the very coveted award as the No. 1 Dental School in the nation. He spent one year in a Postdoctoral General Practice Residency and received a Certificate from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

On July 6th of 2002, Dr. Densley was awarded the prestigious Fellowship Award from the American Academy of General Dentistry. In June of 2003, he was inducted as a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In 2005, he was awarded his second fellowship, this time from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, this time recognizing his education and experience in dental implant surgery and implant restorations. 

Among his other professional dental affiliations include the Washington Dental Society, the Oregon Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Education is absolutely essential in today’s very demanding field of dentistry. Dr. Densley has a commitment to education and will continue to learn, so that he may provide patients and their families with the best possible care. He averages nearly five times the required state standard for yearly continuing education. His commitment to education forces him to be a teacher, to teach with respect, and to provide insight into dental care so that one may take an active role in their dental and health-related needs.
