Get to know Chiropractor Dr. Michael S. Aho, who serves the population of Illinois. Dr. Aho completed his undergraduate degree from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in neurobiology and physiology. Furthering his education he graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine Degree from the Palmer College of Chiropractic as class valedictorian in 2010, giving him nearly a decade of experience in his field. Dr. Aho currently practices as a chiropractor with his co-owned practice Crosstown Chiropractic. He is a licensed chiropractor in Illinois with specialization as a Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner. He has completed post graduate courses that focus on treating conditions outside of the spine including the shoulder, hip, and feet. His training also includes Nimmo and Graston Techniques which are used to treat soft tissue conditions such as muscle injuries. His patients all have excellent experiences with him, one stating, “Dr. Aho is a great listener and also has a great memory, he really puts time and thought into helping you and gives you great tips and sometimes gadgets to bring home to continue/maintain your improvement.” Chiropractic medicine is a healthcare profession that focuses on the relationship between the body’s structure—mainly the spine—and its functioning.
