Fluent in English and Filipino, Dr. Capocyan is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in private practice in Sugar Land, Texas. Catering to the females of Fort Bend, Houston, and neighboring cities since 2009, some of the obstetrics and gynecologic issues that she handles include: low-risk pregnancy, risk-risk pregnancy, well woman exam, breast cancer screening, birth control, menstrual problems, menopausal symptoms, abnormal pap smear, genital lesions, female infections, osteoporosis, minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries, as well as major and minor gynecologic surgeries.

After earning her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines in 1995, Dr. Capocyan went on to complete her first residency training in obstetrics and gynecology in the Philippines and engaged in private practice before moving to the United States. She completed her second residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center where she received numerous awards and served as the chief resident in her senior year.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
Dr. Capocyan is a member of several medical societies and professional organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Texas Medical Association and the Fort Bend Medical Society.
