In his professional experience, Dr. Gleitman has been the Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Brook Plaza Ambulatory Surgical Center for nearly 20 years. He is also an attending physician at New York Community Hospital, part of the New York Presbyterian Network, as well as at Gramercy Surgery Center in Manhattan.

After graduating with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, the doctor continued his postdoctoral training and completed a hospital-based surgical residency program at a major New York Hospital. A Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics & Primary Podiatric Medicine, he is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. 

In order to remain up to date on the latest procedures, products, and techniques related to his specialty, Dr. Gleitman participates in continuing education programs. He is also actively involved with teaching and training other podiatric surgical residents, as well as other podiatrists who wish to learn new techniques. Recognized as an expert in his field, he has co-authored in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
