Incorporated in 1973, PMA proudly provides specialized care and services to complex critically ill patients in each of the three care settings: inpatient (serving numerous Northern California hospitals), outpatient, and Telemedicine. In regards to his educational background, Robert graduated with his Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Palomar College in 1993. He then went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from National University in 1995, after which he obtained his Master of Business Administration Degree from the said establishment in 1999. Upon embarking on his nursing path, Robert earned his Master of Science in Nursing Degree from UCLA in 2010, his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix in 2017, and his Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree in Critical Care Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2018. An Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse that provides care to patients in acute care, hospital, or intensive care settings. This type of advanced practice provider is different from a family nurse practitioner. ACNPs see patients when they are sick, admitted to the hospital or after a surgical procedure and/or trauma. Their focus is solely on caring for the adult population (young, middle, and older adults, ages 13 and up) with complex diseases. Having been an Army Officer in the US Army Reserves since 1987, Robert has proudly served in multiple overseas deployments in service to our country. Playing a role in worthy causes, he is involved with the VFW Foundation and Wounded Warriors. Among his various accolades include Meritorious Service Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medal with 2 oak leaf clusters, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal with an oak leaf, Navy Good Conduct Medal, Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon x 2, and SW Asia 2023 Military Awards.
