Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Visker completed his undergraduate education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where he played 4 years of college basketball, and received his medical degree from the University of Vermont Medical School. He then went on to complete his residency in pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents.
