Dr. Ovais Inamullah, MD, a double board certified vascular neuro-hospitalist, has been a valued member of Wellstar Health System in Marietta, Georgia, since 2021. He specializes in managing patients with acute neurological emergencies, including stroke, hemorrhage, seizures, head injury, migraine, neuroinflammation, and spinal cord issues.  

Dr. Inamullah’s dedication to patient care extends beyond the clinical realm, as he and Dr. Abhi Kapuria, MD, founded Neurology Legal Consulting, Inc., a venture aimed at providing comprehensive legal support for patients navigating complex neurological issues. Proficient in advanced diagnostic techniques and technologies, they provide comprehensive, evidence-based reports and opinions on topics such as causation, liability, damages, prognosis, and standard of care.

A graduate of Emory University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Inamullah completed his residency in neurology and fellowship in vascular neurology at Duke University Hospital. His training equipped him with advanced skills in managing acute stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, and cerebrovascular diseases, setting him apart as a leader in his field.

Board certified in neurology and vascular neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Inamullah is an active member of prestigious medical associations, including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology.

Dr. Inamullah’s commitment to patient advocacy is evident through his involvement in various organizations, serving as a Multiple Sclerosis Ambassador with the National MS Society, a volunteer at Green Hill Recovery Graphic, a Neurology Residents and Fellows Section article reviewer for the National MS Society Graphic, an article reviewer for the American Academy of Neurology, and a committee member on The Glitter of Hope Foundation. 

As a prolific researcher and writer, Dr. Inamullah has contributed to esteemed publications in journals such as Neurocritical Care, Journal of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases, and Journal of Neurology. His dedication to advancing neurology is further exemplified by his multiple grants, research awards, and leadership recognition from institutions like the Duke Neurology Department and WellStar Kennestone Hospital.
