Prior to his tenure with the Culinary Health Center, Dr. Wantig worked as a pediatrician in Chicago, Illinois. He has also practiced medicine in Bolivia, Hawaii, and Texas. Additionally, he practices with other area pediatric centers, which allows him to treat a wide variety of patients. The Culinary Health Center is dedicated to helping their Culinary members live healthier lives. Working together with their medical partners, they are changing the way healthcare is delivered to the Culinary community. They strive to create an environment where every Culinary member has high-quality care, better access to medical services, and an exceptional patient experience. Dr. Wantig earned his medical degree from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés. Then, he continued his education with residencies at Texas Tech University and the University of Hawaii. Dr. Wantig additionally completed a fellowship at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Wantig maintains a Nevada state medical license and has practiced medicine for over twenty years. Dr. Wantig maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Pediatrics, Bolivian Society of Pediatrics, which allows him to stay up-to-date on developments in his field.
