They have expert skills in performing endoscopic procedures, which allow them to see the intestinal tract in great detail. Furthering his training, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he was selected as chief medical resident. He also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the same educational venue. He was the recipient of the prestigious John O. Vieta Award and also received the Department of Medicine Award for Academic Excellence.
