Born and raised in India, Dr. Sindhwani received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1986 at St. Bede’s College in Shimla, India. She then earned her combined Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree in 1992 at the Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Haryana, India. After relocation to the United States, she completed an internal medicine residency through Michigan State University and Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan (1998 – 2001).
Subsequent to the completion of her training, Dr. Sindhwani acquired his board certification in internal medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine. The American Board of Internal Medicine is a 501 nonprofit, self-appointed physician-evaluation organization that certifies physicians practicing internal medicine and its subspecialties.
A former Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, Dr. Sindhwani is currently affiliated with Reston Hospital Center in Reston, Virginia. Outside her professional commitments, she enjoys reading, traveling, walking, listening to music, and watching movies.
