Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Elma D. Castillo, who serves the population of New Jersey. Dr. Castillo graduated from the Far Eastern University School of Medicine with her Medical Degree and General Pediatrics as her sub-specialty in 1977, giving her over four decades of experience in her field. After obtaining her Medical Degree she completed her residency with the Long Island College Hospital. Dr. Castillo is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. To stay up to date in her field she remains a professional member of the Philippine Medical Association in America and the Philippine Pediatric Society of America as well as a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics (National and New Jersey Chapters) as well as the President of the Far Eastern University Medical Foundation (New Jersey Chapter). Dr. Castillo currently practices with her joint practice that she shares with her husband, Dr. Rod Castillo in their West New York and Secaucus medical offices. She is also affiliated with the Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen and Meadowlands Medical Center in Secaucus, NJ. She has received many awards throughout the year including Parents of the Year award in 2010 from the National and State of New Jersey; Parents of the Year in 2012 from the Pan American Concerned Citizens Action League, Inc. (PACCAL); Outstanding in the Medical Field in 2010 from PACCAL; and Medical Award in 2010 from Knights of Rizal.
