  • I have a lump in my armpit

Thank you for your response. I recommend follow-up in clinic as you may require an ultrasound. This can simply be a cyst or an abscess. Continue with monthly breast examinations. READ MORE

  • Please tell me this is something besides what I think it is!

Syphilis is not a rash that appears and disappears. If there is concern for syphilis, I would recommend treatment. I recommend allergy testing; however, it sounds like an idiopathic (unknown cause/happens "just because") urticaria. I hope that this helps. READ MORE

  • Can ear drops fix an ear infection?

It depends on the type of ear infection. If it is an otitis external (swimmer's ear), yes drops can be effective; however, if there is an otitis media (behind the ear drum), a systemic OR oral antibiotic will be required UNLESS the patient has a tympanoplasty (tubes in ears). READ MORE

  • Hepatitis B

Thank you for reaching out. To answer this question accurately, you will need to have a Hepatitis B titer lab drawn. Once this is ordered and drawn, one can answer if an additional Hep B. vaccination series will need to be administered. I hope that this helps. READ MORE
