Get to know Neurologist Dr. Monica Simionescu, who serves patients in Janesville, Wisconsin.

In Romania, Dr. Simionescu graduated with her medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1992. She then went on to perform her internship at Roger Williams Medical Center in 2003, her residency in neurology at Loyola University Medical Center in 2006, and her fellowship in vascular neurology at Loyola University Medical Center in 2007.

The doctor is board-certified in neurology and vascular neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Simionescu is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Heart Association, and the National Headache Foundation.
