The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began in 2001 when he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the A T Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He then went on to complete his residency in radiology at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.

Following his education, he became board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of imaging in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

To further his professional development, Dr. Borup remains a member of several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic College of Radiology, the American Osteopathic Association, the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, and the Society of Breast Imaging.
