Upon graduating with his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Damascus University in 1986, Dr. Khiami relocated to the United States. Once there, he served his residency in pediatrics at SUNY Upstate Medical University, and his fellowship in pediatric nephrology at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). Pediatric nephrology involves the diagnosis and treatment of patients with kidney and urinary diseases.
