Having earned his Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Science Degree in Applied Physiology from Rosalind Franklin University, Dr. Kashani completed his internship and residency in general surgery at UCSF – East Bay Surgery Program. Further enhancing his skills, he underwent a fellowship in minimally invasive, advanced laparoscopic, and bariatric surgery at Cedars– Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Boasting board certification in general surgery and recognition as a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Kashani’s accolades extend to being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and an esteemed member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Kashani has authored publications in various fields. His research areas of interest include the appendicitis incidence among Hispanics in Chicago and Jewish medical ethics on Euthanasia, exploring critical healthcare issues and contributing to scholarly discourse.
