Dr. Brian Adams, MD, DABA, is a triple board-certified interventional spine physician at Phoenix Ortho Injury Spine & Extremity. His mission is to provide compassionate and patient-centric care for painful spine and other orthopedic injuries, enhancing his commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Originally hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Adams has called the Atlanta metro area his home for most of his life. He is a proud alumnus of the University of Georgia, where he earned his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Biological Engineering before pursuing his passion for the said field with a Master’s Degree from Colorado State University. His academic journey culminated in a Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, followed by comprehensive training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Board certified in pain medicine, anesthesiology, and addiction medicine, Dr. Adams is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Preventive Medicine.

A respected member of various professional societies including the American and Georgia Societies of Anesthesiology, the Georgia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the International and North American Neuromodulation Societies, Dr. Adams is dedicated to advancing the field of minimally invasive surgical techniques for spine and orthopedic injuries. 

His forward-thinking approach and commitment to excellence have earned him accolades such as The Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award and 1st Place for a presentation in the Medically Challenging Case Category at the Mid-Atlantic Anesthesia Research Conference hosted by the prestigious Johns Hopkins University.

Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Adams finds joy in spending quality time with his spouse and three children, traveling, nurturing his garden, and embracing the great outdoors through activities like hiking.
